TRES CHIC

Hello Sunshine,

If only this weather could make up its mind...Sigh! One moment its hot...warm rather...and the other moment it is super cold. But it has mostly been cold here in Nairobi so much so that am now pairing knits with nearly everything. 

It was fun shooting this style post. This skirt is so beautiful and swingy. It channeled the inner girly girl in me. I kept swirling and swirling and swirling the whole time. I also loved the way the color combo turned out to be so subdued hence giving it the fairy whimsical feel. 

That's how this look that's comprising of a white and pink full circle skirt and the furry sequined top happened. At this point the sun was all out. Then a while late...it was snowing...well not literally. But it was freezing cold.  

Before I go, have I mentioned that this skirt is a result of a DIY-ed dress? If not, now you know.

MY BIRTHDAY WISH LIST

Hey Loves!

I tell you what, there are only two days remaining to my Birthday! Am happy. Ecstatic. Grateful to God for having brought me this far. I mean, it's such a biggie. Am not taking it for granted. 

After hours of self evaluation on Sunday, over a cuppa green tea. I compiled a list of things that I would like to lay my hands on, come Sunday. This list will also come in handy for anybody looking around for birthday gift ideas for a sister, girlfriend or mother. 

Feel free to surprise me with anything from this list. After all, that is why I put it together. (Just kidding) I mean to say that gifts are always welcome.

CREAM AND BLACK MONOCHROME

Hi Loves,

Today's post is special to me in so many ways but I will try my best to keep it really short and sweet.

To begin with, my love for tux style pants intensified ten fold with this cream and black pair of tuxedo pants that are tailored to measure by Becksville Trends. I adore the style of high waist-ed slim cut pants because it highlights the waist and hips giving off an hour glass shape.

To maintain the cream and black color palette, I paired my pants with a black and cream collared striped button down top.  I loved the way my fluffy bun  and pair of black heels injected some femininity to my look.To sum it up, I settled for rich purple for my lippie. This served to add a pop of color to my black and cream ensemble. 

And finally, on this very day I was treated to a makeover, one of the best that I have experienced in quite a long time courtesy of Kim's Hair Studio and Boldface Artsitry. One word to describe their services Luxe! You gotta try them out. A girl has got to feel and look good. Under no circumstance should you compromise.
